We are hiring for SAP SD/SM Position in Austin TX. It's an Onsite role.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SM (Service Management) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SAP SD/SM modules and will be responsible for leading and implementing SAP solutions, assisting in process design, configuration, integration, and training for clients.
As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions and provide guidance on best practices for SD and SM processes. You will also assist in the management of key stakeholders, ensuring that business needs are met through effective SAP solutions.
<>Key Responsibilities:- SAP SD/SM Implementation & Support: Lead and participate in the end-to-end implementation and support of SAP SD/SM modules, including the gathering of business requirements, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement within the SD and SM areas. Provide recommendations to enhance the overall business process.
- System Configuration: Configure SAP SD and SM modules to meet business requirements, ensuring integration with other SAP modules such as MM, FICO, WM, and PP.
- Functional Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in SAP SD and SM, providing in-depth knowledge and expertise to the team and stakeholders.
- Customization and Integration: Work on customizing and integrating SAP SD/SM with other SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring smooth data flow and process automation.
- Project Leadership: Manage project activities, including defining timelines, resource planning, and coordinating with team members. Mentor junior consultants and ensure quality of deliverables.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, process flows, and training materials.
- User Training: Develop and deliver training to end-users, ensuring that they are comfortable and proficient in using the SAP SD/SM functionality.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for issues arising in SAP SD/SM processes. Work with development teams to resolve any system issues.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business needs, ensure alignment between business requirements and SAP system capabilities, and provide ongoing support.
- Enhancement & Optimization: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the SAP SD/SM modules to improve overall system performance, streamline processes, and reduce costs.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in SAP SD/SM consulting or relevant experience in SAP projects.
- Expertise in SAP SD/SM Modules: Strong hands-on experience in configuring and implementing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Service Management (SM) modules.
- Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with integration of SAP SD/SM with other modules such as MM, FICO, PP, WM, and external systems.
- Business Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of sales, order-to-cash processes, customer service, and service management processes.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues and implement efficient solutions.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, work under pressure, and lead teams in an efficient manner.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive management.
- Certifications: SAP SD/SM certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior consultants.
