What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Associate position at Nura?
NURA is seeking a Quality Associate to help our growing team by collecting samples or inventory using standard operating procedures. Primary responsibilities will be shipping samples to customers as well as provide samples to internal departments as requested. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and tact and reacts well under pressure. Must adapt to changing work environments and able to deal with frequent changes, delays and unexpected events.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be to collect samples from NURAs sample library or inventory stock following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ship samples to customers and provide samples to internal departments (Quality Control, R&D, etc.)
- Update all logs related to sample collection and fulfillment every day.
- Prepare sample shipment reports and maintain sample inventory logs (electronic and physical records).
- Maintain inventory of sampling supplies and place order(s) as needed.
- Perform and maintain daily & periodic calibrations on sampling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, and organized space. Perform routine cleaning based on monthly cleaning schedule.
- Assist with re-wrapping pallets after samples are taken from inventory.
- Assist with inventory cycle-counts.
- Assist Quality Control Department with projects as needed.
- Assist with preparing samples for analysis in a laboratory.
- Assist in performing routine testing in the laboratory.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient sampling and reporting processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs, moving inventory to carts to take into sampling room.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum Associates degree (required); Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Previous work experience in GMP regulated manufacturing facility, or laboratory preferred.
- High attention to detail, and meticulous adherence to hygienic practices a must.
- Efficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel a must.
- Previous experience, creating shipping labels (FedEx, UPS, DHL) a plus.
