Unit Description:
The Cardiovascular Unit 002 (3N) is a 44-bed cardiac telemetry unit. The majority of patients are on cardiac monitors, with monitoring conducted in a remote telemetry room as well as on the unit. Patients often include those with:
- Heart failure
- Heart attacks (STEMI and NSTEMI)
- Strokes requiring cardiac monitoring
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Chest pain
The unit may also take overflow medical patients as needed. Nurses will work with cardiac drips and handle a variety of cardiac-related conditions.
Required Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $62.00 - $64.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
