Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Family/Internal Medicine Physician to join our client's expanding team. Based in McKinleyville, CA, this role is integral to ensuring patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. You will have the opportunity to engage in an array of clinical tasks where your expertise and dedication will directly impact the health and well-being of the community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient histories and thorough physical examinations
- Evaluate patients' clinical status and administer appropriate screenings
- Formulate and implement comprehensive care plans based on clinical findings
- Prescribe treatment and medications adhering to care standards
- Educate patients on wellness and illness prevention
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development
- Supervise and mentor Advanced Practice Clinicians and support staff
- Manage electronic medical records with accuracy and timeliness
- Address complaints and work toward positive resolution
- Contribute to clinical protocol development and updates
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of a recognized residency program
- Current California medical license and Board Certification
- Valid DEA license and CPR certification
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and handle conflict with tact and diplomacy
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
