Location: Romney, WV
Salary/Pay Rate: $42.56 - $54.27 per hour
Schedule: Day Shift (8-5pm), On-call as needed
About the Client: People Placers Staffing is partnering with a Critical Access Hospital in Romney, West Virginia, to find a compassionate and experienced Nursing Director for their Long-Term Care unit. This 30-bed unit provides skilled nursing and long-term care to patients in a supportive and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the MDS process and experience in a leadership role within a long-term care setting. The hospital utilizes Point Click Care EMR and provides a competitive benefits package, including relocation assistance.
Job Description: The Nursing Director, Long-Term Care, assists with the development of goals, standards of performance, and policies and procedures for the Long-Term Care unit. The Nursing Director establishes objectives for the Long-Term Care Unit and the organizational structure for achieving these objectives.
Required Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of West Virginia
- Basic BLS CPR certification (up-to-date annually)
- 3 years of experience in a management role in Long-Term Care
- Previous experience with the MDS process
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Point Click Care EMR
