As the Assistant Director, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the surgical services department, managing staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available. Your ability to multitask, organize, and communicate effectively will be key to maintaining high standards in patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise surgical services personnel, providing guidance and support to staff
- Manage the ordering of supplies and equipment to meet operational needs
- Ensure that departmental schedules run smoothly and efficiently

Requirements:

- Experience: At least 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital or surgical services setting as a manager or charge nurse
- Certifications/Licenses: Current, active nursing license and CPR certification required
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Additional: No travel required, and no security clearance necessary
