About the Job:
Are you an experienced supply chain or program/product management professional ready to lead cross-functional teams and drive impactful supply chain strategies? We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Material Program Manager (MPM) to manage material and subcontract program execution, cost, schedule, and compliance. In this visible role, you will collaborate across functions, serving as a key interface to program and product offices, engineering, quality, finance, and operations. You will also act as a subject matter expert in supply chain and programmatic practices 3.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to improve supplier and customer on-time delivery.
- Ensure timely completion of all material and subcontract program milestones.
- Manage material and subcontract program budgets and drive actions to improve financial performance.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and other functions for key Products/Programs.
- Analyze key performance indicators, identify challenged areas, and champion continued improvements 3.
- Provide leadership in a matrixed environment 3.
- Develop supply chain estimates using risk and opportunity analysis for best-case, most-likely, and worst-case scenarios for ETCs and new business captures.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external laws and regulations.
- Assist Program Finance in rolling up quarterly financial status against the AOP, short-term forecast, EAC, and ETC 3.
- Ensure customer flow-down requirements are communicated and documented through the supply base.
- Manage key supplier performance and relationships.
- Lead supplier recovery strategies, report supply chain status, and communicate critical issues to internal stakeholders with solution-focused actions 3.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience 3.
- Experience in Supply Chain and Program Management execution across a Product Life Cycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR, etc.) 3.
- Effective communication skills for internal executive leadership and line management, both written and verbal 3.
- Experience with new business proposals/capture on competitive and/or sole-source pursuits 3.
- Demonstrated management and leadership experience 3.
- Subcontractor Management experience through various stages of development through production 3.
- Ability to break down large, complex issues into smaller, individual approaches to achieve business objectives 3.
- Earned Value Management experience/Previous Control Account Manager experience 3.
- Expertise in FAR, DFARS, and ITAR 3.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing technical statements of work 3.
- PMP Certification 3.
- Advanced degree 3.
