Overview
Seeking an individual to fill the role of a Support Service Professional to work with a young man with intellectual disabilities.
Duties include:
- Assisting the individual with working on skills to become more independent
- Assisting the individual with becoming more involved in his community
- Companionship for the individual
- Assist with the implementation of the outcomes in his Individual Service Plan (ISP)
- Complete daily documentation and reports
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18-years old
- Clear criminal background checks, which may include the PA Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Clearances, and FBI Fingerprint Check
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, current car insurance, and must have a vehicle for going places in the community.
- Must be upbeat and friendly
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Minimal computer skills required
Job Type: Part Time. Four days per week; 3.5 hours per day; primarily in the evenings and some weekends
