We are currently seeking a Development Manager to join our organization. As the Development Manager, you'll oversee and participate in development initiatives through management of development team, coding, or assisting in managing outsourced relationships. You'll be responsible for the development, testing and preparation of specific, well-defined software classes and interfaces ensuring they adhere to departmental and organizational specifications, methodology and standards. You'll work with software solutions needed to support the organization and development department. You'll actively participate in gathering user feedback and suggesting improvements in both usability and performance. You'll be responsible for leading team members through daily development, coaching and monitoring.
To thrive in this role, you should have five to eight years of similar or related experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science preferred. This position is one part software development and one part leadership. This might be the role for you if you enjoy work requiring business perspective, problem solving, attention to detail, and research.
Key Skills and Experience:
Experience in software/web application design; programming requirements and design; application modeling and interface design;
Experience including, but not limited to, relevant web and .NET framework programming experience in C#, HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, SOAP, JSON, JavaScript, MSSQL, Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with .NET intranet web applications.
Fundamental experience with modern versions of Microsoft SQL server, and IIS (Internet Information Service).
Ability to manage highly technical staff from varying disciplines.
Experience working with personal computers, networks, and associated development software.
Skilled in project management, process analysis, and proposal writing.
Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to support departmental and strategic initiatives;
Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with software developers and internal customers, as well as non-technical users.
Demonstrated detailed requirements gathering and technical writing/workflows.
Skilled in root cause analysis and application problem solving.
Development, performance management, training, and employee counseling skills essential;
Effective verbal and written communication skills required.

Salary : $86,600 - $110,000
