We are currently seeking a Helpdesk Technician. In this role, you'll provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You will install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. You'll provide support and education to Credit Union personnel in the use of computer systems.
To thrive in this role, you should have one to three years of similar or related helpdesk experience. This position is equal parts technical troubleshooting and support of Credit Union staff. This might be the role for you if you enjoy working in a role requiring lots of contact with others, providing information, and building relationships or soliciting cooperation.
Here are some key skills and experience that will help you be successful in the first six months:
Experience in modern versions of Microsoft Windows, Apple Operating Systems, and mobile device operating systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information, and handle problem resolution.
Effective verbal and written skills are required with the ability to work with multiple levels of the organization and to convey technical solutions in a clear and concise manner via in-person, email.
Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
Represent the organization professionally in conduct and personal appearance.
Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.
Self-starter who works well independently and in a team environment.
