QA Regulatory Labeling

About the Role - We are looking for a Quality Assurance Labeling Technician responsible for ensuring that product labels and packaging comply with regulations, specifications, and quality standards set by the company and government regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Apply style guidelines and branding standards to new and modified product labeling
• Verify that labeling complies with all applicable requirements for local, state, and federal
• Create and revise label items within the company’s document control system by drafting and releasing engineering change orders
• Contribute to Labeling department process improvement initiatives
• Responsible for daily regulatory requirements for labeling strategy and operations for multiple projects
• Support all regulatory labeling guidance in communicating risk within the dietary supplement space and conceptualize an understanding of expectations that govern these areas of regulations for domestic and international dietary supplement distribution to support company goals
• Manage cross-functional collaboration with other departments to ensure all changes to labeling/packaging workflows and new product development processes when required
• Manage multiple applications simultaneously and interface directly with distributors and other stakeholders to resolve labeling/packaging application issues
• Knowledge of dietary supplement labeling & packaging requirements working to execute projects with cross-functional teams: Engineering, Marketing, Quality, and R&D
• Oversee the development and execution of regulatory reviews related to advertising and promotional materials
• Proofread and reviewed revised artwork, including a side-by-side comparison of primary and secondary labeling and multi-lingual inserts for artwork approval
• Proven skills to support the planning and coordination of labeling/packaging timelines and/or submissions and support appropriate regulatory inspections
• Communicate and interpret regulatory issues and/or directives to team members and provide potential solutions
• Supporting Regulatory and design teams where applicable and assisting with other regulatory compliance duties as assigned by management

Pay range - $20-22 p/h.
