About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts, process invoicing, and ensure timely collections. This role plays a vital part in supporting our Accounting & Finance operations and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Management

• Run credit checks and assist in credit risk evaluations for new customers
• Audit and set up new customer accounts with accuracy and completeness
• Maintain sales tax exemption documentation and ensure compliance
• Collections if warranted

Order Entry & Invoicing

• Assist with order entry and ensure billing accuracy
• Generate and send customer invoices in a timely manner
• Reconcile sales tax payables and support filing requirements

General Accounting & Support

• Apply customer payments and monitor outstanding balances
• Proactively follow up on overdue accounts and manage collections
• Work with internal teams to resolve billing issues
• Maintain accurate AR records and perform account reconciliations

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and collections
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, finance, and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel mandatory and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Education

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
