Job Summary
As a Sales Associate, you will focus on identifying and acquiring new customers, managing home improvement projects, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a commission-based role, offering significant earning potential for motivated individuals who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the roofing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition:
- Seek out and acquire new customers in Arlington Heights and surrounding areas.
- Conduct research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
- Present tailored roofing and home improvement solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Lead Generation:
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, following up to close sales.
- Market Growth:
- Assist in identifying opportunities for expanding into new neighborhoods or regions.
- Stay informed about local market trends and competitor activities.
- Sales Execution & Home Improvement Job Execution:
- Obtain a detailed work order from each customer, including all project requirements.
- Schedule roofing, gutter, siding, and other necessary jobs in coordination with the back office.
- Follow up with customers before the job starts to confirm details and address any concerns.
- Provide exceptional post-job support by following up and addressing any customer questions or issues after the work is completed.
- Client Relationships:
- Build lasting relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and work orders in the CRM system.
- Provide regular progress updates to the sales manager.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Previous sales experience in roofing, construction, or related fields is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and ensure project success.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is a bonus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
- Interest in learning about roofing products and services.
