NuWest Travel Nursing is a reputable travel nursing agency seeking a skilled labor and delivery nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Grants, New Mexico.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and delivery, with certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring. Experience with Omnicell system is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients with compassion and expertise.
- Utilize fetal monitoring equipment and administer medications as needed, including Pitocin and Magnesium.
- Chart patient information accurately using Fetal Link and Cerner systems.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Float to MedSurg unit as needed to maintain workload balance.
