As the Financial Operations Specialist, you will be part of a team that is central to maintaining our programs' seamless operation and financial integrity. You will ensure that our expansive and constantly evolving programs are supported by robust financial strategies and management practices. This position requires a blend of financial acumen and a commitment to supporting the organizational goals, which aim to provide the best volleyball training experiences and ensure our athletes and coaches have the resources they need to succeed.

By keeping our operations efficient and up to date, you will directly contribute to the growth and success of our athletes and the overall development of volleyball in the region.


Job Summary:


The Financial Operations Specialist manages and executes various financial tasks within our organization. This role is vital in maintaining our financial health through diligent expense management, payroll administration, and budget tracking. Reporting directly to the Finance Director and providing periodic reports to the CEO, the Financial Operations Specialist ensures accuracy and compliance in all financial operations.


Responsibilities:

 

Expense Management: Oversee and manage all expense-related operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

Budget Oversight: Maintain and monitor organizational budgets, providing detailed reports and forecasts to the Finance Director.

Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports outlining current financial status and projections for the finance director and CEO.

Payroll Administration: Handle payroll functions, ensuring accurate matching of hours worked with reported hours and promptly addressing discrepancies.

Bookkeeping Assistance: Support the Finance Director in various bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.

Document Management: Keep meticulous records of financial documents such as bills, invoices, and receipts to ensure up-to-date and accurate filings.

Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to creating and implementing financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and regulatory compliance.


Requirements:  


- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- At least [X years] of experience in financial management, payroll, and bookkeeping.

- Strong proficiency in [specify software, e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, payroll systems].

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial data to non-finance personnel.

- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
