We are looking for a highly motivated Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for performing accounts receivable and general ledger functions. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with government regulations.

As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for performing accounts receivable and general ledger functions. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with government regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Review project setup to confirm accounting system will process revenue and billings correctly
- Generate contract invoices for bi-weekly and monthly periods and submit to customers
- Reconcile billing, revenue, and unbilled amounts at multiple levels
- Process contract closeout transactions to include evaluation of contract funding for deobligations
- Communicate with customer to follow up on invoice payments when required
- Perform monthly closeout reconciliations for prepaid expenses, reconciling credit cards, asset management, depreciation/amortization, and other GL-related functions
- Assist with audit preparation and coordination
- Cross-train within team for more dynamic company support (may include accounts payable, payroll, or any other tasks among the team)
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of applicable accounting experience
- 3-5 years of experience with multiple types of contracts (CPFF, FFP, T&M) and accounting of each
- Attention to detail
- Experience in processing accounting transactions
- Experience in an office or business environment
- Experience in Microsoft office products, especially Excel
