LOCATION : NE Portland, OR
SALARY : $18 / hour / OT when needed
SCHEDULE : Full-time on-site, Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm
- Some Saturday availability required on rotating Saturdays
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Call Management : Handle incoming customer calls, providing clear and helpful information.
Sales Lead Generation : Identify opportunities and generate sales leads when necessary to support business growth.
Customer Needs Assessment : Identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction and appropriate solutions.
Payment Collection : Collect payments via cash or credit, ensuring accurate processing and documentation.
Receipts and Refunds : Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Bank Deposit Preparation : Prepare bank deposits and handle cash flow management.
Account Reconciliation : Reconcile accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all payments are accounted for and posted correctly.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bilingual : Fluent in both Spanish and English to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
Customer Support Experience : Previous experience in customer service, office clerk, or cashier roles (POS) preferred.
Accounts Receivable Experience : Experience in accounts receivable is a plus but not required.
Data Entry & Numerical Skills : Strong data entry skills and an aptitude for working with numbers accurately.
Industry Knowledge : Experience in the tire industry is desirable but not mandatory.
Excellent Communication : Strong phone communication skills with active listening abilities to ensure clear and helpful customer interactions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Physical Stamina : Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while performing tasks such as cashiering, answering phones, and data entry.
Manual Dexterity : Capable of handling cash transactions, issuing receipts, and managing physical paperwork or bank deposits.
Lift and Move Items : Ability to lift and move items up to a certain weight (e.g., office supplies or light equipment) as needed in the office environment.
