Summary of Job Duties :
The Director, Engagement Center, provides comprehensive leadership and support for all activities associated with the Engagement Center. The Director leads the recruitment, hiring and training of student staff and collaborates daily with the Office of Engagement to devise strategies and measure results.
Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Engagement, the Director possesses a creative and entrepreneurial mindset and serves as a motivational leader to student callers. The position will promote innovative ideas while following best practices and staying apprised of engagement center trends.
The Office of Engagement is dedicated to connecting with donors, alumni and friends of the University of Arkansas in meaningful ways that celebrate their investment and communicate the impact of their philanthropic support.
As part of this effort, the University of Arkansas Engagement Center provides outreach to hundreds of alumni, parents and friends each year to deepen existing relationships and cultivate new ones. By using phone, email and video platforms, students facilitate thoughtful conversations, provide important campus news, and reconnect alumni with their colleges and programs of interest. In addition to garnering philanthropic support for the University of Arkansas, the Engagement Center provides students with valuable training and professional work experience.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least one year of experience researching and synthesizing data for reports
- At least three years of experience supervising staff or volunteers
- Experience with CRM systems

Successful candidate must have the ability and dedication to work a unique afternoon and evening work schedule (Sunday-Thursday, 12 : 30p – 9 : 30p).
Salary Information : $70,000.00 per year
