Commercial Litigation Associate – New York & New Jersey
Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate with a minimum of four years of substantive litigation experience to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator to work on complex commercial litigation matters, collaborating with senior counsel while independently managing cases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Independently manage a caseload of complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and decision-making
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, Orders to Show Cause, and other key litigation documents
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and appeals
- Conduct and participate in depositions
- Maintain effective communication with courts, clients, and opposing counsel
- Stay up to date on legal developments, industry trends, and best practices to provide high-quality legal representation
