We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Office Services Assistant to provide exceptional hospitality and office support. This role is ideal for candidates with hospitality and customer service experience. The position includes tasks such as conference room setup, food and beverage service, and maintaining office spaces. While occasional light lifting may be required (up to 50 lbs with assistance), the focus is on delivering high-quality service in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities:
- Event Setup and Breakdown: Arrange and disassemble conference rooms per event requirements, including tables, chairs, and equipment.
- Hospitality Services: Prepare and manage food, beverages, and supplies for meetings and events. Maintain cleanliness and ensure hygienic handling of food and beverages.
- Office Maintenance: Handle trash removal, clean kitchens and meeting rooms, and restock supplies.
- Client Service: Manage the hospitality calendar, greet clients and guests, and ensure professional client service at all times.
- Administrative Support: Assist with mail services, shipping/receiving, clerical tasks, and maintaining office organization.
- Inventory Management: Order and track inventory for supplies, food, and beverages in kitchens and conference rooms.
- Other Duties: Perform occasional cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, window washing, and restroom maintenance, and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of hospitality or office support experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
- Ability to follow directions and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Physical Requirements:
- Light lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance).
- Standing and walking as needed during the workday.
