Under immediate supervision the City Laborer will perform common unskilled laborer work requiring physical strength: move, lift and carry items of various weight and sizes; assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment and materials for firehouse and fire department buildings. Required to operate motor vehicles including forklift in connection with the performance of duties. Operate various materials handling machinery including electric and hydraulic devices.

Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York.
