Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range $156,557.00 / yr - $156,557.00 / yrJob Description Tour : 15 : 30 P.M – 24 : 00 A.MPurpose Of Position : To provide clinical support to the Behavioral Health Department.Areas Of Responsibilities : All Behavioral Health UnitsSummary Of Duties And Responsibilities : Participates in developing the philosophy and objectives of the Nursing Education & Research Department.Participates in the development, revision, and implementation of department policies and procedures to assure attainment of goals and standards set by Nursing Department.Collaborates with education and research nurse educators, clinical nurse leadership, and PI staff to assess education needs of practicing nurses in the inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.Evaluates quality and appropriateness of health care delivery by reviewing performance improvement activities and other outcome measures and comparing results against established benchmarks and evidence-based practice guidelines.Plans, directs, organizes and evaluates orientation, in-service, and continuing education for nursing personnel and other departments as needed.Provides clinical coaching in a specialty area to ensure that standards of practice are achieved and maintained.Utilizes current educational theory and principles in the development of education programs.Implements a variety of teaching strategies appropriate to content, setting, learners’ needs, and desired learner outcomes.Utilizes adult education methods and practical approaches to developing and assessing clinical skills.Maintains documentation of activities including, but not limited to curricula, competencies, attendance sheets, and evaluation of program objectives.Models critical and reflective thinking practices for staff and students.Assumes responsibility to ensure provision of quality patient care.Assesses needs and implements measures to attain standards and recommendations.Evaluate quality of patient care through reports from quality assurance, and patient relations department as well as by observations during nursing rounds.Provides guidance to nursing administrators to ensure continuity and an acceptable level of patient care on evenings and nights.Promotes inter- and intra-departmental cooperation and collaboration.Attends meetings with nursing as well as other departments to promote good communication and close collaboration.Assists in problem resolution that may arise involving the Nursing Department.Participates in developing and maintaining sound relationships with community and professional groups.Conducts and / or attends meetings and committees as assigned within the hospital, at the corporate level, and with external agencies.Promotes personal and professional growth.
