Company experiencing huge growth in northern suburbs has an opening for a professional to oversee Field Service and Test individuals regarding performance, safety, training, work schedules, resource assignments and documentation for planned and upcoming customer and project requirements. You will make certain staff received support for in-house and field testing, inspection, installation, commissioning and training of products and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and coach staff with regard to staff growth, success of projects and individual performance
- Assess progress regarding clearly set goals an objectives, promoting a culture focused on culture and accountability
- Create strategies to engage and retain staff
- Collaborate with other internal departments
- Provide engineering and manufacturing suggestions regarding product improvements
- Establish testing requirements and maintain excellent documentation

Requirements
- 5 years experience in Field Service role and testing of electrical equipment
- 2 years of staff management
- Ability to work with a diverse customer base, troubleshooting and and emergent support
- Knowledge of 3-phase power systems or power distribution, AC/DC, Voltage Circuit Theory and practical skills troubleshooting.
- Understanding of electrical theory and technologies
- Diesel Power generation related controls experience including Parallel Systems
- Background in electric power, blueprint reading ability, problem solving, project management experience
- Strong MS products computer skills
