NYCPM: Seasonal Manager Position
NYCP Management is seeking an experienced and dedicated manager to lead the hotel. As a contracted seasonal manager, you will oversee day-to-day hotel operations with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences for guests, fostering a positive work environment for employees, and ensuring profitability for the ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the successful daily operations of the hotel, focusing on guest satisfaction and staff performance.
- Manage all aspects of hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and activity staff, ensuring a safe, guest-centric environment, forecasting and etc.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Lead by example, setting high standards, enforcing hotel policies, and actively managing the budget for optimal performance.
- Walk the talk – Conduct daily walks throughout the hotel to identify areas of accomplishment and improvement. Mentor, inspire, and motivate staff to maintain high standards. Engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with team members, owners, and guests to understand priorities and maintain a shared vision.
- Act as the manager on duty, taking responsibility for overall hotel operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel management, 10 years of leadership and proven management skills.
- Associate degree is preferred but experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to drive profitable revenues and demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingualism is advantageous.
- Physical capability for occasional exertion and prolonged standing or walking.
- Manage any afterhours requests, might require emergency onsite visits
- Handle basic maintenance work is preferred
- Weekends and evenings availability a must
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $5,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
