This position will report directly to the Director of Assisted Living for Gateway Vista and will provide day-to-day supervision and oversight to the assisted living program and team. Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced LPN to coordinate resident care in our assisted living facility. This role ensures quality care, manages medication administration, and supports daily operations through effective staffing, audits, and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in on-call rotation and assist with staffing schedule.
- Daily 1:1 and monthly review meetings.
- Administer medications; conduct weekly med cart and EMAR audits.
- Oversee medication error reporting and narcotic destruction.
- Conduct self-med assessments and medication aide training.
- Complete quarterly service agreements and back-up payroll.
- Address grievances and conduct bedside assessments.
- Assist with onboarding new residents and reviewing call-light response times.
- Attend monthly all-staff meetings.
- Active LPN license in the state of Nebraska
- 2 years of assisted living experience, preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and handle multiple tasks.
