Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible team member to join our team in a dual role as a dietary aide and housekeeping associate. This full-time position offers variety in daily responsibilities and supports two vital departments in our facility. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a clean, welcoming, and nourishing environment for our residents and guests.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a Dietary Aide (Every Other Weekend):
- Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and food service to residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow dietary restrictions and resident preferences as directed.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to sanitation standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, nursing staff, and residents.
As a Housekeeping Associate (Tuesday–Thursday):
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and facility offices.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Restock supplies and maintain cleaning equipment.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions to appropriate staff.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and move throughout the shift.
