Solar Sales Consultant (10k+ Monthly)

Role Description

We are seeking energetic, technology savvy individuals for a full-time solar sales position in the Buffalo, New York Metropolitan Area. This role is part of our partnership with NYS Essential Power, where we serve as an authorized installation partner. You will be working with the NYSERDA program for NY State, offering homeowners no-money-down solar solutions. With state incentives covering 50-60% of costs, switching to solar has never been more affordable.

As a Solar Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be consulting with homeowners interested in learning more about solar energy. You will engage potential customers, introduce them to the benefits of solar, and schedule appointments to provide them a custom home energy report. This role involves setting appointments and/or selling solar to interested homeowners. Additionally, you may have access to company provided appointments.

Based on your sales experience you will begin in one of our tiers below:

Setter: Door to Door position to create appointments for in-home consultations.

OR

Consultant: Run company appointments to help homeowners convert their home to solar energy.

On-Target Earnings: $50,000 - $240,000, based on performance. This is a commission-only position.

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Great with computers and technology

Ability to build rapport quickly with potential customers.

Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a desire to succeed.

Comfortable working outdoors and engaging in door-to-door canvassing.

Basic knowledge of solar energy is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.

Reliable transportation and ability to work in various weather conditions.
