- Coordinate and manage building construction through all phases including projects planning, design, construction, Information Technology Services (ITS), furniture purchase/installation, and tenant occupancy.
- Serve as the primary contact for all communications for disseminating information, identifying problems, and making determinations to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget while meeting clients’ needs.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate projects from inception to completion; ensure required work is completed within an acceptable time frame and within budget.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for all project assignments and participants.
- Create schedules and coordinate with project planners, architects/engineers, construction staff, ITS staff, client agencies, and other project stakeholders.
- Record project activities and progress updates regularly in the OGS Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Relay project status, successes, accomplishments, challenges, and recommendations to OGS upper management.
- Determine appropriate execution of construction projects based on available in-house resources, contracted labor, procurement of prime contractors, nature of a particular element of work, availability of existing “backdrop,” and Design & Construction contracts or any combination thereof.
- Provide specific materials information for the procurement of goods and services required for projects.
- Knowledge and direct experience in the practices and principles of design and construction phase services, including construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC installations, and hazardous material abatement.
- Possess and maintain or ability to obtain and possess NYS Code Enforcement Official certification.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Applicant degrees in related fields may substitute for experience as follows:
- No degree: seven years of required experience.
- Associate’s degree: two years of required experience.
- Bachelor’s degree: four years of required experience.
- Master’s degree: five years of required experience.
- Doctorate degree: six years of required experience.

Salary : $84,156 - $106,454
