About the Role:
As a project manager/business analyst in the Policy and Program Strategic Solutions Practice, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, deliver, and support our clients through todays ever-changing healthcare landscape. NYSTEC is considered a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and connecting the dots for our clients. NYSTEC has consulted on some of the largest Medicaid initiatives and served in various roles across a multitude of New York State healthcare technology systems.
Your day-to-day role as a NYSTEC consultant will include supporting the director of the Bureau of Data Insights and Research (BDIR), which resides in the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP) Division of Data Services and Analytics (DDSA). Serving as a project manager, you will provide coordination, project management, and problem-solving skills to support our clients healthcare project(s).
Key Responsibilities
- Creating key project documentation.
- Planning and scheduling meetings.
- Updating presentation materials.
- Capturing meeting minutes.
- Organizing action items, risks, and issues.
- Assisting with project quality management.
- Tracking project timelines and progress.
- Working closely with the project team and external stakeholders to ensure that key project milestones are achieved in a timely manner.
About you:
Required Qualifications
- Strong writing, documentation, communication, and analytical skills to meet project goals.
- Experience as a project coordinator or project manager.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated organization and planning skills.
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and understand their needs through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communication.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on information technology projects.
- Experience working on healthcare projects.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree and three years of related experience. An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.
The pay range for this position is $60,334.00 to $82,959.80 per year.
