Job Description
As a Dialectical Behavior Therapist at Nystrom & Associates Ltd, you will participate in Minnesota's leading adherent DBT program certified by the Department of Human Services (DHS). You will design and implement treatment/interventions reflective of identified patient needs.
Job duties include:
- Be part of a DBT Consultation team, participate in all components of adherent DBT treatment, and attend monthly trainings facilitated by DBT teammates
- Complete a mental health diagnostic assessment on new patients
- Provide high-quality ongoing therapy with patients
- Help lead weekly DBT Groups
- Maintain complete and organized outpatient electronic health records
- Ensure appropriate coordination of care for patients and collaboration with other professionals
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings including case and peer reviews
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Mental Health Professional as per Minnesota State Statute 245i.04.02 regulations
- Unrestricted license (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, or LP)
- Open to considering unlicensed candidates depending on experience
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) experience strongly preferred but not required
