Part Time Administrative Assistant On-Site
Overview
NYSUT Member Benefits is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant with customer service experience to work Part Time supporting operations in the Member Benefits Department. This onsite position is located at NYSUT Headquarters in Latham, New York.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides administrative support, including but not limited to the following:
- Support for office operations.
- Answer incoming calls.
- Prepares documents, organizes/maintains files and maintains data bases.
- Meeting, workshop, and conference support.
- Works under immediate supervision using pre-established office guidelines and timelines to perform the functions of the position.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent member service and communication skills.
- Must take initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Works effectively as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent, and either an advanced degree or a minimum of two years experience in the field or related administrative area.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
