Requirements :
- Understanding of operation and repair of auxiliary equipment such as conveyors, temperature control units, color blenders, chillers, dryers and hot runner systems.
- Hydraulics
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems by isolating circuitry and testing pressures, pumps, motors and valves.
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic prints.
- Electrical
- Understanding of electrical systems ranging from 24v dc – 480v AC.
- Ability to read and understand electrical prints
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, motor contactors, relays, heaters and low voltage
- Understanding of IMM machine function with the ability to troubleshoot through input / output screens and / or PLC
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Mechanical aptitude, experience in maintenance. Experience in an industrial production environment desired, trouble shooting skills, flexible schedule and willing to work overtime on short notice.
Knowledge of safety in an industrial setting.
