As a QA Line Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall total quality focus of the manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include:
As a QA Line Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall total quality focus of the manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Quality Systems, Food Safety Policies, Procedures, and practices involved in the manufacturing process
- Performing and/or observing line processing checks on packaging lines at required frequencies
- Collecting line samples for customer send-out and lab
- Being the point of contact for quality concerns with production and lab
- Assisting in all investigations, customer, root cause, etc.
- Conducting internal auditing, GMP, Glass-Plastic, document audits, etc., Master Sanitation checks
- Inputting repair orders and following up for completion as needed
- Assisting with HOLDS, paperwork, Ross transactions, e-mail communications. Ensuring product is segregated
- Reviewing re-work from holds prior to release
- Pulling ingredients samples/run testing for product identity
- Environment monitoring temperatures and humidity
