What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Processor position at O'Bannon Bank?
O'Bannon Bank is looking for a responsible and consistent individual to join our team in the Data Processing Department. This individual will be responsible for processing checks, NSF notices and processing, balancing accounts, Wire transfers, and various other reports and duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Distribute morning reports and end-of-month reports
- Process NSF/Reject reports and ACH files
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports
- Verify large check endorsements and signatures
- Impact daily processing for the bank
- Verify ATM Balance Report
- Responsible for processing End of Day Bank transactions
- File Reg E/Debit Card Fraud disputes
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proper phone etiquette
- Proficient typing and data entry skills
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Computer Skills:
- MS Office program
- 10-Key
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to twenty (20) pounds at times.
- May require sitting long periods of time on the computer and phone.
