About the position: This is a full-time, fully benefited, entry-level position as a dental lab technician in our Digital Department. Our digital dental technicians work together to restore patient smiles and enhance their oral health. In this position, you will learn how to prepare and scan dental model work, match prosthetic wax-ups to digital cases, and perform quality control inspections to ensure functionality and aesthetics. Opportunities to advance to higher levels and grow your skills as a dental lab technician may become available over time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years of experience using computer software as part of educational coursework or in the workplace.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experienced in digital dental design.
- Experience working in a dental lab or dental provider’s office.
MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED
- Computers, tablets, digital scanners, hot glue gun, hot wax pens, and standard office equipment such as phones, printers, copiers, and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work is primarily performed in a temperature controlled office environment. The dental lab is housed in the same building and this position requires entry into the lab occasionally, which contains dust and noise.
- Continuously perform sedentary work at a workstation. Occasionally stand and walk across level surfaces.
- Continuously use arms, wrists, and hands to grasp, squeeze, and operate scanners, computers, and handle cases.
- Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds; intermittently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally bend, twist, and reach from ground level to above shoulder height.
