Our progressive Construction Administration Team at our offices in Central Texas seeks a talented Construction Administrator to manage the construction process. The Construction Administrator is responsible for working with our design team, project Owners, and construction contractors to effectively deliver successful projects. We want someone with a desire to exceed expectations and a commitment to ensuring the built environment matches the design intent. We need someone who can give critical insight to project teams on a variety of construction types to help our clients achieve their goals. Bottom line we want only the best.

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO .
The Construction Administrator will be responsible for working with architectural, engineering and construction team members on various scale projects.
- Managing project documentation and flow during the construction phase of complex healthcare and education projects Submittals, RFIs, Proposal Requests, ASIs, contracts, etc.
- Coordinating solutions with the team members and consultants
- Review of submittals for design intent
- Approve contractor pay applications
- Project oversite to ensure the contractor is following the intent of the construction contract
- Represent the firm in a professional manner in front of clients, contractors, and consultants
- Travel to jobsites throughout the central Texas region and occasionally beyond
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE
Were looking for passionate, driven self-starters. Beyond that, youll need
- 5-7 years experience in professional architectural, engineering or construction related position
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Detail oriented and understanding time sensitive with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Newforma software knowledge is a plus
- Extensive knowledge of construction and AIA documents
- Extensive knowledge of construction materials, building trades, and the products associated with them
