Position Summary
The position requires product expertise and industry knowledge to accurately estimate requested projects in a timely manner.
Primary Role and Responsibilities
- Be professional in the way you present yourself and represent the company.
- Build relationships over the phone learning about and helping to provide assistance for product sales.
- Work as part of the Sales Team and Operations to improve processes and improve how we deliver our products.
- Know what is being sold; the products and services delivered by the company.
- Learn the Industry Recommended Practices and the regulations that govern our activities
- Continuous learning on Sales methods and the use of selling tools and best practices.
Activities

Receive incoming quote requests
- Full pricing requirements based upon scope of work provided
- Offer suggestions discovered in the estimating process
- Solicit contractors, when necessary, to provide pricing to complete the scope of work
- Keep Contact, Account, and Opportunity notes in CRM
- Support Sales Team request with estimate/quote development and support as needed.
- Support Sales Manager request estimate/quote development and support as needed.
- Manage Bid work including builders exchanges, engineer hosted bidding sites, bid requests
- Respond to all written voice or email requests from customers, internal staff, and vendors before end of day.
- Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Great Plains, Excel, SQL Server, and SharePoint
- Be proficient in and maintain company bidding software
- Travel may be required for product training, trade show, offsite meetings & association events may be required
