The O'Donnell Middle School has an opening for a Bilingual Paraprofessional.
Provide academic support for Multilingual Learners as directed by the content and/or ML teacher. Assist with accommodating and implementing materials and ensuring access to accommodations.
Follow provided schedule adhering to scheduled time frames.
All Bilingual Paraprofessionals will assist in the administration of MCAS, support in the administration of the WIDA SCREENER as needed. Maintain confidentiality of student information and educational records.
Communicate with ML Teacher regarding academic progress, behavioral or social-emotional concerns and daily performance.
Provide students with a safe and supportive academic environment.
Prioritize English language acquisition, but provide student-initiated multilingual support as needed.
