O'Fallon Casting produces world class aerospace aluminum investment castings. We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team in O'Fallon MO to develop finished machining CNC programs and setups.

Responsibilities include :
Analyze drawings and solid models of precision parts to determine the most efficient sequence of operations required for machining.
Design fixtures and tooling necessary for production and toolroom.
3D solid modeling and surface modeling
Observes first article production and inspection to verify process is followed and results are conforming.
Develop new and optimize existing CMM programs using PC-DMIS software.
Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications as needed to ensure CMM programs measure and record all customer requirements.
Requirements :
Advanced machining technology coursework, with 5 years experience in similar field is preferred.
Strong knowledge and experience of Solidworks and Mastercam software is required.
Extensive knowledge of fixture design and machining principles pertaining to CNC machines is essential for this position.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Knowledge of materials and their machining characteristics.
Good understanding of GD&T.
Strong communication skills
Candidate should be respectful and team oriented, building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
