Job Description
The Machine Repair Supervisor is accountable for supervising hourly personnel in all phases of machine repair, maintenance, installation, and rebuilds.
The Machine Repair Supervisor should have:
- Prior machine repair experience
- A strong background in Preventative Maintenance
- Ability to recognize failure prior to failing to increase scheduled repairs and reduce downtime
The Machine Repair Supervisor will:
- Plan department work schedules and direct assignments of personnel and equipment
- Analyze operations and make recommendations relative to changes in organization, personnel, equipment, department policies, and procedures
- Conduct inspections of forming equipment including feeder mechanisms, bottle machines, and various types of bottle handling equipment
- Review bottle quality and mold equipment operating data
- Oversee Machine Repair Apprentice program
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous machine repair/maintenance experience in the glass industry
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
- Blueprint reading proficiency
- Must be available to respond to unscheduled breakdowns and critical production issues for continuous operations

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $100,00 and $115,000 and includes a possible 12% annual incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
