DESCRIPTION: O’Maley Academy is a 21st century grant funded summer program that meets from 8:30AM-1PM
Monday-Thursday (6/30-8/7 with no programming on 7/3). O’Maley Academy is seeking summer program advisors to
implement & facilitate a pre-designed summer program HQPBL curriculum that focuses on developing students’
engagement in learning as well as their communication, leadership, perseverance, and critical thinking skills. The
curriculum surrounds the unit driving question “How can you be a part of creating a sustainable Gloucester?” and the
name of the summer program is Green Minds Academy: Become an Eco-Innovator in this Summer of CHANGE! Advisors
who are hired can pick the specific day(s) and time(s) within the 6/30-8/7 8:30AM-1PM date/time frame that works best
for their summer schedule. You just need to be able to fit in 26 hours worth of pre-planned lessons.
