Job Summary:
O'Meara Motors, a leading automotive dealership in Northglenn, Colorado, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Used Vehicle Manager. As a member of our management team, the Used Vehicle Manager will play a crucial role in driving the success of our dealership while working closely with the GSM to achieve sales goals and maintain Used Vehicle Inventory levels.
Compensation & Benefits:
The position offers a competitive commission-based compensation structure with a potential earning range of $150,000 to $270,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. In addition to financial rewards, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the used vehicle department, including setting sales goals, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing effective sales strategies
• Hire, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure individual and team success
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals
• Work closely with the GSM to develop and implement sales plans, policies, and procedures to achieve department goals and objectives
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and competition to develop pricing strategies and promotional activities that maximize sales and profitability
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and training, and implement corrective action plans as needed to improve team performance
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all sales paperwork and reports
• Support dealership events and promotions as needed
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role mandatory
• In-depth knowledge of the used vehicle market and pricing trends
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management software
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
