Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, load trucks, unload and receive parts, pull stock, drive Yard Dogs, clean parts, assemble products or kits, and maintain a clean work area.
- Receive inbound inventory, place material into storage, pull inventory from storage to fill customer orders, and load material on trucks and trailers for outbound shipment.
- Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, cranes or other material handling equipment to move material to/from trucks or trailer and within the premises.
- Clean parts using hand/pedestal grinders or other metal finishing equipment, utilize hand trucks, forklifts, cranes or other material handling equipment to move material.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate forklift and cranes.
- Knowledge of commonly used practices and procedures.
- Able to accurately read a tape measure.
- Has experience with a variety of hand tools such as: hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, bander.
