Join our team as a Quality Assurance Supervisor, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring high-quality outcomes for our distribution processes. You will coordinate the configuration and maintenance of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and lead a dedicated cycle count team. Your efforts will directly contribute to exceeding customer expectations while keeping operational costs low.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure high-quality operations across the distribution center.
- Oversee WMS configurations including location setups, rule sets, and item master integrity, in collaboration with the distribution systems coordinator.
- Lead the cycle count team and manage the reporting of daily over / short and Freon cycle counts.
- Conduct procedural audits to verify compliance and identify inventory discrepancies.
- Review daily inventory adjustments and analyze root causes for discrepancies.
- Support efficient slotting of product within the distribution center.
- Assist in developing and updating procedural documentation and recommend improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for maintenance and support of RF units, terminals, and printers.
- Ensure daily compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the in-bound operations manager on payroll, budgeting, and productivity.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by coordinating with safety personnel.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to team members to enhance productivity and morale.
- Establish annual goals with the Inbound Operations Manager and devise action plans to achieve them.
- Conduct regular team meetings to foster communication and collaboration.
- Work closely with Human Resources to interview and onboard new team members.
- Ensure timely completion of team member evaluations.
- Maintain safety standards and identify potential hazards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
