Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with a strong background in the Credit Cards domain to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Credit Cards and 8 years of overall experience in business analysis. The candidate must be well-versed in Regulatory, KYC, AML, and Data projects, along with a deep understanding of various Credit Card applications across acquisitions, servicing, risk, and credit reporting.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
- Work closely with business and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
✅ Credit Cards Domain Expertise:
- Provide in-depth knowledge of Credit Card lifecycle applications, including:
- Card Acquisitions
- Card Servicing
- Risk & Fraud Management
- Credit Reporting & Account Receivables
- Backend Processing & Settlement Systems
✅ Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge:
- Strong experience working with Regulatory, KYC (Know Your Customer), and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) projects.
- Ensure compliance with banking and financial regulations in credit card operations.
✅ Data Analysis & Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
- Conduct RCA and research work to identify business issues and recommend solutions.
- Work with large datasets and use SQL or data analysis tools to analyze trends and patterns.
✅ Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and QA teams.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and seamless execution.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to ensure business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions.
✅ Testing & Implementation Support:
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure requirements are met.
- Work with the development and QA teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Provide post-implementation support and monitor performance for continuous improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
✔ 8 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in the Credit Cards domain as a Business Analyst.
✔ Strong expertise in Credit Card applications, including Acquisitions, Servicing, Risk, Credit Reporting, and Backend Applications.
✔ Experience with Regulatory, KYC, AML, and Data projects in the banking/financial sector.
✔ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and research.
✔ Proficiency in working with SQL, Excel, or data analysis tools for report generation and data validation.
✔ Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
✔ Ability to work in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision and strong self-learning capabilities.
✔ Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Rally.
✔ Experience with Goldman Sachs or similar Tier-1 financial institutions is a plus
