Job Description:
The Administrator in Training (AIT) program is a comprehensive, hands-on training experience designed to prepare individuals for a leadership position within a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior administration to learn about the daily operations, management, and strategic planning of the facility. You will receive mentorship and exposure to key areas, including finance, compliance, human resources, patient care, and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the day-to-day management of the skilled nursing facility.
Gain experience in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and healthcare standards.
Assist in overseeing patient care delivery and ensure high-quality services are provided.
Support human resources functions, including staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
Contribute to budgeting, financial management, and cost control efforts.
Help maintain relationships with families, residents, and external healthcare providers.
Shadow and work closely with senior leadership to implement best practices in facility operations.
Assist in managing the facility's adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Healthcare Management or related field (required).
