Position Overview
Oak Hill Contractors is actively recruiting a site supervisor to join our growing team. This position reports directly to the superintendent. The ideal candidate should be reliable and motivated, along with an adaptive personality and ability to work well with others. Ability to independently problem solve is a must. Qualified applicants must have in depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and MSHA regulations. Daily responsibilities include working independently as well as alongside the site superintendent, job site oversight, management of crew members, ensuring safety procedures are followed correctly, maximizing production, and providing support to crew members.
Ideal Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience; preferably in dirt excavation
- MSHA 5000-23 surface certification, required
- OSHA 30, preferred
- Heavy equipment operating experience; haul trucks, tractor pan / scrapers, dozer, excavator, grader, etc.
- Problem solving skills
- Flexible personality and ability to work well with others is mandatory for this position; includes ability to establish and build solid client relationships
- Must be able to multitask and work at multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to travel

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
