Oak Hill United School Corporation is seeking applicants for a job opportunity within the technology department. This position is available to applicants with information technology experience who possess an interest and passion in managing, troubleshooting, and growing technology in the K-12 environment. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
Establish customer-driven technical support environment- Categorize, prioritize, and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner related to a
variety of technologies
- Assist the current technology staff with various projects as needed
- Provide hardware and software support and troubleshooting for the staff and students
- Maintain fleet of 1,700 student 1 to 1 devices
The Ideal Candidate:
Must be highly organized and have extreme attention to detail- Will be able to work and learn new concepts and skills independently
- Must be able to problem solve, research, and implement technical solutions unassisted, without
dependence on daily supervision
- Must have knowledge of and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems on a wide variety of
hardware, software, and networking on multiple hardware platforms
- Will have willingness/ability to contribute to all different areas in K-12 technology department
- Must have ability to perform physical tasks periodically (climbing ladders, unloading pallets, etc.)
- Experience working in or around K-12 technology is a plus
- Experience in PC repair, active directory, iOS/Windows/ChromeOS, Windows Server, or
imaging are all a plus
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required, two/four year degree or related work experience in
K-12/technical field is preferred
- A strong interest in growing classroom technology
- Demonstrated workplace experience and ability to troubleshoot end-user hardware, software, and
networking
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
