What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Property Inspector - Oak Island Accommodations position at Oak Island Accommodations?
Essential Responsibilities:
- Critically review work of housekeepers to ensure cleaning meets or exceeds cleaning standards
- Provide timely and detailed reports to housekeeping management when issues are found that require a housekeeper to return to property to rectify cleaning issues
- Rectify simple errors in cleaning issues before moving on to next rental
- Unload clean dishes from dishwasher and put away in an orderly fashion
- Ensure decks, covered porches and other exterior areas are clean and organized
- Provide timely and detailed reports of any maintenance items that need attention
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining high quality in work
- A customer-service oriented mindset
- Positive and friendly demeanor
- Team player
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry cleaning supplies up and down stairs
- Valid NC driver’s license with ability to use personal vehicle for work activities
- Able to work all weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day
- Ideally will have a smart phone with data plan to submit photos and work orders
Physically you can anticipate to:
- Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds and exert 30 pounds of force
- Use your arms and legs, bend, twist, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
- Subject to internal and external environmental conditions
