Start Date: Immediate hiring (Year round position)

18 hole public golf course. Established 1996. Par 70, 6,200 yard fun and challenging course. Family owned. Oak Marsh averages 35,000 rounds per year. Bent grass tees/greens, tightly mown bluegrass fairways. Driving range, short game area, practice greens and bunkers.

• The Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to Owner

Position Summary

The golf course superintendent assumes responsibility for managing and maintaining golf course property, which includes:

• The golf course
• Maintenance equipment
• Clubhouse grounds and landscaping

Position Summary

· Responsible for all activities related to the care and maintenance of the golf course, grounds and equipment. Work with Manager on maintenance of clubhouse. Plan and implement budgets. Hire train and supervise staff. Apply relevant landscaping, horticultural principles to assure that quality standards are consistently achieved and/or exceeded.

Employment Standards

· Two or Four year degree in Turf Management or related field

· 3-5 years’ experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent

· Chemical / Pesticide License or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire

Compensation

· Salary range ($75,000 - $85,000) depending on experience.
